Force Windows 11 install on an incompatible PC, UEFI version.

There are many ways to bypass Windows 11’s hardware requirements, all based on modifying the installer to ignore these checks, as well as modifying the registry to always ignore these Windows 11 hardware requirements. To simplify, there are three options that don’t require any third-party utilities and are entirely based on Microsoft sources.

Please note: this page only applies to PCs booting in UEFI. For machines stuck on an older-generation BIOS, see this page.

The first method, using MicroSoft update assistant, is the most direct if you have a working PC running Windows 10, use this link:

forcer la mise à jour vers windows 11 avec le media creation tool windows 11

The second method, using an USB key, allows you to have a Windows 11 installation media, always useful, use this link:

forcer la mise à jour vers windows 11 à l’aide d’un support d’installation USB

The third method should only be used for a new installation from scratch, that is to say by deleting the partitions from the disk, and installing a new Windows 11 on an empty disk.

use this link:

installer windows 11 depuis 0 (fresh install) sur un PC incompatible windows 11
